Threads is adding a Grok-like AI search feature

Meta is testing a new AI chatbot feature on Threads that lets users tag @meta.ai in posts and replies for contextual information, mimicking Grok on X. The feature is currently in beta in Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Argentina, and Singapore. Users can mute the AI account to hide its replies.
