The pre-game traffic drama appears to be affecting both teams according to rugby league great Brad Fittler.
Kick-off between the Rabbitohs and Sea Eagles tonight has been pushed back 15 minutes later for 8.05pm AEST.
Nine's rugby league reporter Danny Weidler revealed a case of "bad traffic" impacted Manly's journey from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium, with a police escort brought in to help speed up the situation.
Fittler joked both coaches would be pointing the finger at each other, with South Sydney also understood to be running late.
"I think Souths are late as well," Fittler told Nine.
"The paranoia of Des Hasler and Wayne Bennett would be going crazy at the moment.
"Des would be blaming Wayne and Wayne would be blaming Des.
"They're both very experienced and I don't think it will put anyone off."
