Apple will launch 15+ new products this fall, here’s what’s coming

Apple has a packed lineup of new products coming this fall. Here is every new Apple product rumored to arrive later this year. This fall is shaping up to be one of the most significant product cycles in Apple's history, with upgrades spanning nearly every major category. From a completely new foldable iPhone to next-generation AirPods with advanced sensors, the company is building on its ecosystem with hardware that pushes boundaries in artificial intelligence, health tracking, and smart home integration. The lineup includes more than 15 different products, many of which are first-of-their-kind for Apple.

iPhone 18 Family, Including the First Ultra Model

Apple's flagship iPhone 18 lineup will go ultra-premium this fall, dropping the base model iPhone 18 that is rumored to arrive in early 2027 instead. The iPhone Air 2's launch date remains unclear, but the other models are expected to ship in September. The iPhone 18 Pro introduces a variable aperture camera, allowing for better low-light performance and more creative control over depth of field. It also features a unique new color finish, a smaller Dynamic Island that reduces screen intrusion, and upgraded computational photography capabilities powered by the A20 Pro chip. The iPhone 18 Pro Max includes all of these enhancements plus an even larger battery, likely pushing battery life beyond two full days of typical usage.

The most anticipated addition is the iPhone Ultra, Apple's first ever foldable iPhone. Rumors suggest a book-style design with a main display around 7.8 inches when unfolded, using a durable glass and ceramic shield combination. The foldable will run a custom version of iOS optimized for larger screens and multitasking, with support for Apple Pencil. Pricing is expected to exceed $1,800, positioning it as a true super-premium device. The iPhone Air 2, meanwhile, will receive the A20 Pro chip but few other changes, focusing on a thin and light form factor for users who prioritize portability over camera and battery upgrades.

New AirPods Ultra and Apple Watch Models

Apple is rumored to launch a new AirPods Ultra model this year that introduces infrared cameras for AI features. These IR cameras will enable spatial awareness, allowing the AirPods to detect gestures and environment for a new generation of Apple Intelligence interactions. For example, users could nod to answer a call or shake their head to reject a notification. The AirPods Ultra build on the AirPods Pro 3 platform with the H3 chip, which delivers adaptive transparency, active noise cancellation improvements, and high-resolution audio. The IR sensors also support head-tracking for immersive spatial audio in apps like Apple Music and supported games.

On the wearable front, the Apple Watch Ultra 4 will debut new health sensors, including a blood glucose monitor that uses optical spectroscopy rather than invasive methods. While the feature may still be in early testing, it represents a major step forward for diabetes management and overall health tracking. The Ultra 4 also receives design updates with a thinner bezel, brighter display, and new titanium finishes. The standard Apple Watch Series 12 has minimal rumors so far, but analysts expect a new processor and potential temperature sensor enhancements for improved cycle tracking and sleep monitoring.

MacBook Ultra and New M5 Mac Studio, Mac Mini, and More

It is a big year for the Mac, with MacBook Neo and new MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models already launched earlier in 2026. Now Apple is refreshing its desktop lineup with M5 chips ahead of a brand new MacBook Ultra introduction. The M5 Mac mini will offer M5 and M5 Pro configurations, maintaining its compact form factor but gaining Thunderbolt 5 ports and support for higher memory options. The M5 Mac Studio takes a bigger leap, available with M5 Max and a brand new M5 Ultra chip that combines two M5 Max dies for up to 40 CPU cores and 128 GPU cores. This makes it a powerhouse for video editing, 3D rendering, and scientific computing.

The M5 iMac will offer newly refreshed color options, with more vibrant finishes and an upgrade to the M5 chip for improved performance and efficiency. The most exciting Mac announcement is the MacBook Ultra, a new high-end model with an OLED display, touch support, and a redesigned chassis. The MacBook Ultra is expected to fill a gap between the MacBook Pro and the iPad Pro, offering a touchscreen laptop running macOS with Apple Pencil support and a floating hinge similar to the Microsoft Surface Studio. It may use a custom variant of the M5 Pro or M5 Max chip and start at around $2,500.

New iPad and iPad Mini

Apple refreshed the iPad Air in early 2026, but two more iPads are expected to launch before the year ends. The new iPad mini receives an OLED display, moving away from the LCD panel that has been used since the original model. OLED brings deeper blacks, better contrast, and improved power efficiency, making the mini even more portable for reading and note-taking. It will also include an upgraded chip, likely the A19 or A17 Pro for Apple Intelligence support. The base iPad gets the A18 chip, enabling Apple Intelligence features like Writing Tools, Image Playground, and the new Siri with on-screen awareness. These iPads will help expand the entry-level and compact tablet segments with modern features at accessible prices.

Apple Home Products

Apple has big plans to expand its Home product line, but it has reportedly been waiting on the new Siri to arrive first. With Apple Intelligence now more capable, the Home lineup is set for a major update. The new Apple TV 4K will come with an upgraded A17 Pro chip for Apple Intelligence and support for advanced gaming. There are rumors of a built-in camera for FaceTime and HomeKit Secure Video functionality, effectively turning the device into a smart home hub with video capabilities.

The HomePad (also referred to as HomePod Touch) is a new product category with a 7-inch touch screen and magnetic base attachments. It can be mounted on a wall, placed on a countertop, or used as a portable display for controlling smart home devices, viewing calendars, and making FaceTime calls. The HomePod 3 will be an upgraded full-size smart speaker with the new Siri and Apple Intelligence, offering improved sound quality and room calibration. The HomePod mini 2 receives a new chip and audio improvements, including spatial audio with dynamic head tracking for music and podcasts.

Two first-party security devices are also in the pipeline: an Apple Security Camera and an Apple Video Doorbell. Both will integrate with HomeKit Secure Video for encrypted recording and use Face ID technology to recognize familiar faces. The doorbell could include a smart lock integration, allowing users to unlock their doors with a glance. These products signal Apple's deeper commitment to the smart home, aiming to compete with Ring and Nest.

Apple Glasses Unveiling Possible

All of the above products are rumored to launch this year, but there is another noteworthy introduction that might happen too. Apple Glasses, or Apple Vision as they might be called, are not expected to ship to users until 2027. However, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman says Apple has discussed unveiling its smart glasses in 2026—similar to how products like Apple Watch, Vision Pro, and HomePod were introduced several months before shipping. The glasses will pair with an iPhone, have AI features centered on Siri, offer built-in cameras for taking photos and understanding surroundings, and include augmented reality overlays through a compact display. A 2026 announcement would let developers and consumers see Apple's vision for wearable computing ahead of a formal release, building excitement and enabling early app development. Whether we see Apple's new glasses product this year or not, there are still plenty of exciting launches coming in the months ahead.
