Here's a List of All the COVID-19 Test Sites in South Florida

If you're without a car, you can still be tested at a handful of walk-up sites. Here are some of the places performing public COVID-19 testing in South Florida:

Miami-Dade County

Amelia Earhart Park

Free drive-thru testing is available to people aged 18 and older who are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Appointments are required. No walk-ins, mopeds, or bicycles are permitted. Only two people are allowed in the car at the testing site — one driver and one passenger. If both have appointments, both will be tested.

Residents are asked to enter the park through the entrance on Palm Avenue at 65th Street. Testing will take place at the rotunda near the entrance. 401 E. 65th St., Hialeah; 305-268-4319. Testing is available Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointment only.

Aventura Mall parking garage

First responders and seniors aged 65 and older are given priority at this appointment-only testing site by completing an online questionnaire or calling 786-619-3327. Charles Hadley Park

Free drive-thru testing is available for City of Miami residents aged 18 and older. Appointments are required. 1350 NW 50th St., Miami; 305-960-5050. Open daily starting at 9 a.m.

Community Health of South Florida — Homestead

Free drive-thru testing is available. Appointments are required, and patients must first undergo a free telehealth assessment. 74 SW Sixth Avenue, Homestead; 305-252-4820. Open Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Coral Gables in-home testing

Coral Gables Fire-Rescue offers at-home testing for seniors aged 65 and older and homebound residents with disabilities who are aged 18 and older. Call 305-460-5401 to schedule.

Hard Rock Stadium

Anyone older than 18 can be tested, and appointments are not needed. Up to 750 tests can be performed per day

Separate self-swab lanes are now available on a first-come, first-serve basis to symptomatic individuals aged 5 and older. Patients will be provided with a self-swab test and supervised by a healthcare professional. Results will be available within 72 hours via email. Hialeah in-home testing

In-home testing for Hialeah residents is available for symptomatic seniors aged 65 and older, as well as residents with disabilities who are aged 18 and older. Appointments will be scheduled on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Holy Family Catholic Church (walk-up)

Miami-Dade residents aged 10 and older can get tested. Children must be accompanied by a guardian. Priority testing is given to those with appointments; those without should expect to wait outside for a considerable amount of time. Larkin Community Hospital Palm Springs Campus

Loren Roberts Park

Testing is available to anyone who has had contact with someone who has COVID-19, as well as anyone with a fever, cough, or shortness of breath. No appointments are required, and there are no age restrictions. Tests will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis; appointments are not necessary. 627 NW Sixth Ave., Florida City. Marlins Park

Miami in-home testing

City of Miami Fire Rescue is offering free in-home testing to residents aged 18 and older without transportation who are experiencing symptoms. For more information, call 305-960-5050.

Miami Beach Community Health Center — two locations

Anyone aged 18 and older experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 can be tested. Appointments and pre-screenings are required. 11645 Biscayne Blvd., North Miami, and 1221 71st St., Miami Beach; 305-538-8835. Open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m in North Miami and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Miami Beach.

Miami Beach Convention Center (drive-thru and walk-up)

Testing is free and available to anyone aged 5 years and older regardless of symptoms. The site will offer drive-thru and walk-up testing, with no appointment necessary. The drive-thru offers a self PCR test with nurse assistance. The walk-up site offers both PCR and rapid tests. Those seeking testing should wear a face covering and bring a photo ID. Minors must be accompanied by a guardian.

The drive-thru testing site entrance is on 17th Street and Convention Center Drive. Walk-up testing will take place at the P-29 municipal parking lot on 17th and Convention Center Drive, right across from Miami Beach City Hall. 1901 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach. Mid Beach municipal parking lot (walk-up)

The State of Florida has opened a mobile walk-up test site in Mid Beach. Anyone 18 years and older may be tested. A total of 400 tests are available each day, and no appointments are necessary. Testing at the site is free. 42nd Street between Prairie Avenue and Royal Palm Avenue, Miami Beach. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Miami Beach in-home testing

In-home testing is available for homebound Miami Beach residents over the age of 65 who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Appointments are required. Miami Beach municipal parking lot

MedRite Urgent Care offers drive-thru testing to people of any age who exhibit symptoms of COVID-19, those who have recently traveled to a high-risk country, those who have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, and to all frontline workers, including first responders, healthcare workers, and employees of essential businesses, such as grocery stores and pharmacies. The call center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Saturday; testing runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the same schedule.

Miami-Dade County fairgrounds

Testing is available to anyone aged 12 and older. A total of 330 appointments are available each day. The call center opens at 9 a.m. and will schedule appointments for the following day until all of the slots are filled. Nasal-swab testing is available for anyone aged 12 or older regardless of symptoms. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Priority will be given to those who make an appointment online. Salvation Army — Little Havana (walk-up)

South Dade Government Center

Walmart - multiple locations

Testing is available for all healthcare workers, first responders, and Miami-Dade residents aged 18 and older who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Those being tested must bring a photo ID, wear a mask, and stay in their vehicles. A healthcare worker will guide individuals on how to self-administer the test. Those who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and can't leave their homes to access drive-thru or walk-up testing sites can call the Broward County COVID-19 call center for an assessment. The Florida Department of Health in Broward will manage the testing process and notify residents of their results. The call center is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily; 954-357-9500. Testing is available weekdays from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Central Broward Park

Individuals seeking testing must be prescreened to ensure they meet CDC and Florida Department of Health testing guidelines. Patients must have a prescription from a doctor and be preregistered for an appointment through the Broward Health call center. Those who don't have a personal physician can call the number to speak with a nurse. Cleveland Clinic Florida

Appointments and pre-screening are required at this location. Anyone aged 16 and older with a fever and respiratory illness (such as cough, runny nose, sneezing), or anyone with a fever and gastrointestinal illness (such as diarrhea or vomiting) is eligible for testing. Patients who meet the criteria will be given an appointment and have their temperature taken when they arrive at the drive-thru location. Patients who don't have a fever will not be tested. National Guard and Memorial Healthcare System

All South Florida residents aged 18 years and older, regardless of symptoms, are eligible for testing. Individuals with a previous COVID-19 positive result can now be retested, but they are required to wait at least 14 days after experiencing no symptoms.
