Number one on the list of America’s deadliest highways is our own I-95. Between 2004-2008 there were 662 fatal accidents on the 382.15 miles of highway. That comes out to 1.73 fatal accidents per mile. Total fatalities: 765. In comparison let’s look at Number 29, I-75 in Georgia. During the same period for a highway almost as long, they had 311 fatal accidents (less than half) or .88 fatal
