Republican Party of Florida Chairman John Thrasher told the Buzz he has reviewed the credit card statements of former GOP chief Jim Greer and found "they're the most troubling." He plans to discuss them at a Republican Executive Committee meeting Friday in Tallahassee.

Later, Thrasher told a gaggle of reporters that "some things in there that concern me."

“I’m not going to comment on it specifically," he added. "The board is going to have access to all the credit card statements … to the extent they want to look at them."

Thrasher said he is making changes and plans to limit his travel outside the state. "We are going to be very austere and we are going to stay focused on Florida," he said. "We are going to have a new focus and a new culture."

Thrasher said he is not aware of a federal investigation of the party itself. “We have cooperated with anybody who has asked us for information, from a law enforcement entity," he said. “But none of the investigations that I am aware of are about the party.”
