Say what you will about Bad Girls Club, but it happens to be the first-ever Oxygen telecast to draw over two million total viewers, "and delivering Oxygen's most watched telecast ever among all key demos, according to Nielsen Media Research," says a proud press release. As a result, the show has not only been renewed for a fifth season, but for the first time in its illustrious history, the show will leave LA and film right here in Miami. For those unsure of the show's, uh, plot, the official spin is that it "brings seven new 'bad girls' together in a house where the women recognize that their outrageous behavior has hindered relationshops, careers and lives. They claim they want to change, but will living together help them move forward and turn their lives around–or will chaos rule?" Er, judging by the ratings, we'll take chaos for $1 million, Alex. As we reported recently, casting agents are looking for "some local flavor," and will hold yet another casting at Gordon Biersch on Saturday, January 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Said Jon Murray, Executive Producer and Bunim-Murray Chairman, "Every time Bunim-Murray productions has taken a series to Miami, we've been embraced by the city and its people and had huge ratings, so we're excited about bringing yet another series to the city." Last series they did here was Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, and who can forget that one as those girls became as ubiquitous and pesky as dust? This time, however, the good folks at Bunim-Murray won't have the luxury of riding on the plush posteriors of the Kardashian sisters, so it's skank or swim for now.
