Wow. Trial lawyers are gettin' no love today. Including former US Attorney Bobby Martinez, one of several contenders for the Mel Martinez Senate seat.

First AIF 's CEO Barney Bishop issues a statement subtly swiping at Martinez, by urging Gov. Charlie Crist NOT to pick a trial lawyer. Then we find out the Florida Justice Reform Institute sent a letter directly to Crist, warning him against choosing someone under the influence of "a select few special interests, such as Florida trial lawyers.
