The Latino vote in Florida increased 49 percent from 2004 to 2008 — the largest percentage increase nationwide — according to a report from the Immigration Policy Center that analyzed voting data from the U.S. Census.

Latinos accounted for one in seven voters for a total of 1.2 million ballots cast in the 2008 election, the report says. More numbers on the Latino and Asian vote nationwide is here.
