Rejected from the castings for chongas, bros, and mid season Jersey Shore fill ins? Don't fret! Casting directors from Bunim/Murray Productions, creators of MTV's The Real World, the precursor to every reality show on the tube today (so blame them), will be holding an open casting call this Saturday at Burger and Beer Joint from 9:30 a.m. untl 4:30 p.m. Bring a recent photo that you can bear to part with, photo ID and, of course, your ego. Age range: 18-24. Says the call sheet: "This season's lucky roommates will get the opportunity of a lifetime when MTV hands over the keys to a new fantasy house for the show's 25th season." That's it? Feels like it's 125th season, but who's counting? As for who they're looking for? "We look for characters from real life, people with strong personalities who are unafraid to speak their minds," says Jonathan Murray, executive producer. In other words, exhibitionists, publicity whores and people in dead end jobs who would love to be (in)famous for nothing. For those who can't get there on Saturday, go to www.bunim-murray.com for info on how to apply anyway. Washed up reality castmembers and cast of that other MTV show filming down here need not apply.
