Citizens against government waste issued their list of pork projects today and one Broward County project made the list. The group wrote in a press release that a $1.75 million project for the Downtown Transit Corridor Program for the Downtown Circulator in Fort Lauderdale was backed by U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Rep. Alcee Hastings. The group says the project, called "The Wave", is a 2.7 million streetcare system that would cost $124.34 mille or $46 million per mile.

"Wave goodbye to those tax dollars," states the press release.
