This week, a dozen or so restaurants offer $25 prix-fixe three-course menus as part of Yelp Eats! Restaurant Week. The deal lasts through Saturday, July 26. The price does not include tip and tax. There are several appealing options on the list of participating restaurants, which includes 660 at the Angler’s Resort, Alta Mar, Au Pied du Cochon, Café Sambal at the Mandarin Oriental (the more casual eatery at the hotel), Casa Toscana, Escopazzo, Graziano’s (Brickell), Jaguar, La Cofradia, Pacific Time, Red Koi and Red, the Steakhouse.
Considering a main course alone can run $21 and up at Au Pied du Cochon, this seems like a good opportunity to try the newish French brasserie. While their prix-fixe menu does not include any of their specialties, it may provide an opportunity to sample the atmosphere and get a taste of their offerings.
Same goes for Pacific Time. Their prix-fixe menu includes their popular hot and sour popcorn shrimp appetizer, as well as some variations of what is on the regular menu right now.
Escopazzo, the organic Italian restaurant, is offering the most choices. Diners can choose between five appetizers, five entrees, and the desserts of the day.
It’s a good deal to get you in the door to see if a restaurant appeals to you, with a smaller outlay of cash than you would usually pay for many of these eateries. For more information and to see all of the menus, take a look at the Yelp Eats! Miami page.
