Miami, FL. 33156

Century group ride starting from Elite Cycling. For those unfamiliar a century is a 100 mile bike ride. This is intended to be a fun ride, not a race. Average speed 20 mph. A few of the folks that rsvp’ed have never done a century so if you’ve been trying to get 100 miles in on one day join them. Bring water, snacks, tools, & spare tube(s). Nobody likes to wait on the ill-prepared.

“This is the route from Elite: ride out to Key Biscayne (the back way through Pinecrest to Red Road, then to Sunset, then through Coconut Grove on Main Highway and then Bayshore to the key), turn around at La Caretta (no break), do a loop of Virginia Key, ride back to Coconut Grove for a colada break at the cuban place on Main Highway, then down to Black Point and back to Elite via the busway/S. Dade Trail for the second break, then the same loop again for a grand total of 112.4 miles.” – Mike C
