That didn't long.
Suspended Broward School Board member Beverly Gallagher was off the school district's website Wednesday night, hours after being arrested as part of a wide-ranging federal corruption investigation. Broward County Commissioner Joe Eggelletion and former Miramar City Commissioner Fitzroy Salesman were also arrested in the probe, along with three others who are not sitting or former elected officials.
Gallagher's photo used to show up along with the other eight School Board members. A click on it would lead to a link with her e-mail address, bio and a list of schools in her southwest Broward district. Now her picture is gone, after Gov. Charlie Crist issued an executive order suspending her and Eggelletion from their posts Wednesday afternoon.
A county spokesman said earlier Wednesday the county had no plans to remove Eggelletion's information online yet.
