The Bay County Republican Executive Committee this week will decide
a resolution calling on Ray Sansom to resign from the Florida House.
“The
thought behind it is that the actions of the former speaker are not
reflective of the Republican Party,” said John Salak, chairman of the
Bay County REC said in a Panama City News Herald story. More here.

Santa Rosa GOP official indicated there could be support in that county
as well, citing Sansom's use of a Republican-Party credit card. But
closer to Sansom's home, Okaloosa and Walton county officials said they
did not support or wanted nothing to do with the resolution.
